Joseph Jaap provides legal services to help individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses with their legal needs and focuses on developing solutions to achieve their goals, avoid problems, and resolve disputes.
Joe brings a unique background and experiences to his practice. He received bachelor and masters degrees in engineering from Purdue University, where he also earned a commission as a Naval officer through Navy ROTC. After graduating, Joe served his country for six years as a US Navy Surface Warfare – Nuclear Power Officer aboard nuclear-powered ships.
After his Navy service, Joe worked for several years as a nuclear power plant operations engineer, an integration engineer for a Navy missile system, and a hydraulic controls engineer for military jet engines. He then obtained his law degree from the University of Michigan.
His practice now focuses on helping businesses and individuals in the following areas of law:
